Personal Preferences: Makeup and Styling Notes

To ensure clarity and set the right expectations, here are a few details regarding services that are not included in the maternity photoshoot package:

Makeup and Hairstyling
Makeup and hairstyling are entirely up to your personal preferences. As I am not a makeup or hairstyling expert, these services are not part of the photoshoot package. If you choose to wear makeup, I recommend arriving with your preferred look and bringing any essentials for touch-ups during the session. If you prefer a natural, makeup-free look, rest assured your photos will beautifully showcase your natural beauty and radiance.

Who Can Join Your Maternity Photoshoot? ( Family Members or Friends)

This photoshoot is thoughtfully designed for the expecting couple to celebrate their journey together. The session primarily focuses on the mom-to-be and dad-to-be, ensuring a relaxed and private atmosphere.

For couples expecting a second or subsequent child, additional arrangements can be made to include family poses. I completely understand the joy of wanting to include little ones in a photoshoot. Based on my experience, however, working with small children can sometimes present unique challenges. Their natural curiosity about the environment, especially cameras and equipment and off course the child safety, it can make a bit difficult for me to focus fully on the session. Additionally, children often need more time to feel comfortable and settle into poses new environment, which can make it tricky to complete a mini session within the scheduled time.

If you’re booking any photoshoot package – Specially the Mini photoshoot, I recommend adding an extra 30 minutes (€50) for family portraits. This additional time helps manage natural challenges—especially with young children—and ensures we capture the perfect poses that meet your expectations. The same applies when including elder family members or close friends, as positioning and comfort often require extra attention.

Even if you’re only aiming for one or two family pictures, arranging everyone into a well-composed frame and capturing the ideal shot typically takes at least 15 minutes and more than 10 clicks. Creating that one perfect, framable image—where everyone looks their best—takes time, coordination, and a touch of patience.

To maintain focus during the session, it’s best for the elder child to join after the couple portraits are completed, usually during the final 30 minutes.

For families with two or more children, I recommend adding 45 extra minutes (€75), as it often takes additional time for each child to settle and naturally align in the frame. This ensures we capture relaxed, beautifully synchronized family moments.

In such cases, please discuss your maternity photoshoot plans involving your elder child or children with me in advance before selecting and booking a package. Without prior information, I may not be able to commit to providing the service as required.

By planning in advance and following these recommendations, we can create a seamless, beautiful, and stress-free photoshoot experience for everyone involved.

Studio Accommodation Note

Please note that the studio is specifically designed to accommodate the expecting couple and has limited space. To ensure a comfortable and seamless photoshoot experience, I kindly request that you refrain from bringing friends or other family members to the session. Having additional people in the studio may disrupt the process and cause inconvenience for both the photoshoot and your guests. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Including Other Family Members

If you’d like to include other family members, such as your parents, friends, or siblings, please book a combined family photoshoot session along with your preferred maternity package. This enables me to allocate adequate time and make tailored arrangements to beautifully capture everyone while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. I can also customize the session to suit your specific requirements for a maternity + family photoshoot, so feel free to reach out to discuss your ideas.
